Conrado S. Dayrit MD

Dr. Conrado Dayrit is a medical practitioner, researcher, and clinical pharmacology and cardiology professor. He is the author and co-author of over 70 scientific papers, published in leading journals the world over. Dr. Dayrit edited in 1965 and 1967 the first and the second editions of the Drug Index. In 1978, he also edited the first edition of the Philippine Drug Formulary.

His recognitions includes: the Republic Cultural Heritage Award, 1963; Three-time First Prize Award for clinical research from the Manila Medical Society; and, in 1977, the Gregorio Y. Zara Award in Applied Science given by the Philippine Association for the Advancement of Science.
